Can I work from anywhere?


All contractors need to be legal residents of the United States and must be 18 years or older. We currently do not contract with residents of the following states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin. What type of call center support is needed?


Primarily Sales, Customer Service and Tech Support via Inbound Calls! But our contractors also provide data entry, email and chat support. Is a background check or drug screening required?


Agents are responsible for 2 background checks! Initial Background Check:

  • This is a requirement of our outsource partner as part of their registration process to verify your Name; Social Security and Address as legitimate.
  • There is a nominal fee paid direct to First Advantage (the vendor used) of $9.99
Secondary Background Check:
  • For the security of the clients we provide service to and their customers, a secondary background check is mandatory to perform a national criminal history search.
  • This is not assessed until an agent begins the enrollment process for a client certification course
  • There is no charge for this background check

Please note: In Regards to the criminal history report, only criminal convictions are considered and a conviction does not necessarily preclude an individual from providing services on behalf of a client. When evaluating this information, all relevant factors are considered including the bearing the criminal offense may have on the services required by the particular project. Drug screening

Am I required to sign a contract?


Yes, this is for your protection and ours. It is a basic non-binding Independent Contract Agreement. Non-Binding means you can separate* from our company whenever you choose. *Please note - if a contractor is active with a client we do require you complete the duration of your Statement of Work (SOW) before separating. A Statement of Work is a specific contract related to the scope and length of your assignment with a client program. They are usually written for 90-120 days and renew if your performance remains acceptable*




WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE AGENTS REQUIRED TO SIGN?


Virtual Call Centers can be a breeding ground for all types of FRAUD including indentity fraud. So please be prepared to provide the following to be contracted with our company: SECURITY COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTS:

REVENUE

What are typical earnings as a contractor?


Good question! Average earnings are $10-$12 plus performance incentives! Service Revenue starts at $9 for a more simple client role to upwards of $14 for our more demanding client. It depends on the client you choose, how many service hours you provide and how well you perform or deliver your service! Higher performing contractors will earn performance incentives on top of their base revenue. We have contractors that service 10-15 hours a week up to 40+ a week! Revenue payments can be from $250 up to $1400 twice a month! APPLY NOW!




How often are contractors paid?


We make invoice payments to our contractors as follows: 15th and Last Day of each month. If either fall on a holiday or weekend invoice payments are issued the business day prior! Payments are delivered either by Direct Deposit or Good Old Paper Check via snail mail oops we mean US Mail. APPLY NOW!




When do we start earning revenue?


Once you begin Live Calls within your client certification course you will begin to earn revenue and receive an invoice payment shortly thereafter. See our Certification FAQ's for more detail. APPLY NOW!




How many hours do I have to work or can I work?


Most of the clients suggest a minimum of 15 service hours. You can certainly service more if there are available hours and you wish to. Most of our contractors provide their support service starting at 15 hours and up! To best leverage any performance incentives a client might offer we suggest our contractors deliver at least 15-20 hours of support service each week. This is only a suggestion. Each contractor can determine how many (or little) service hours they provide weekly since you are acting as a self-employed or independent contractor. APPLY NOW!




How do breaks, lunches and vacations work?


GOOD QUESTION! Service schedules are managed by the contractor. So you would be able to allocate time for any needs such as breaks and lunches. When you are ready to take some time off just notify LATEAM LLC with your dates and we will do the rest. APPLY NOW!




Do you have to provide service a certain amount of hours each day?


Man you have your thinking cap on today! No you do not. As mentioned most clients will suggest around 15-20 hours for the week. What you choose to service each day is up to you! Please note: Some clients may have weekend requirements to have sufficient coverage for heavy call volume. APPLY NOW!




Are there ways to earn bonuses or incentives on top of the base rate?


Most programs do offer a performance incentive. This is usually based on various metrics such as attendance or schedule adherence; average quality or CSAT scores; FCR or First call resolution or similar metrics as an example. Each client is different so the qualifying metrics to earn bonuses or incentives will be different also. These are shared in the Opportunity Announcement for each client which is available for review when a client is offering a certification course for their program.

Below is a sample of what you might see: These are modified as needed based on several factors by the client so we do not publish a “standard incentive” chart since each client is different and may change as needed. Rather once you have full access to the Arise Portal you will need to review each OA for any client you are interested in before beginning with enrollment.

Where can I found what each client pays in service revenue?

FEES

What fees am I responsible for as a contractor?


Twice a month, we are charged $19.75 for each active agent currently using the Arise Platform to service a client program. The Arise Platform offers:

  • Telephony & data infrastructure needed to work remotely
  • Systems that track performance, hours and metrics!
  • Access to certification courses that prepare you for working on specific client programs.
  • Help & support to answer your questions via automated FAQ HELP (available on the portal 24/7), live chat support (during business hours on the portal) and the “Partner Support” desk.
  • Support resources providing performance enhancement and informational sessions regarding the client program you choose.​
In addition, LATEAM LLC charges a professionalservice fee to offset our cost of doing business and all the supportive admin services we offer to our contractors - see the next FAQ for some of our services or visit our Services Page! So we offer an all inclusive professional admin fee of the following - both include your Arise Platform Usage fee of $19.75
  • Revenue of $299.99 or less = $30 Fee per invoice payment
  • Revenue of $300 or more = $40 Fee per invoice payment

CERTIFICATION

Why do I need to become certified before providing services?


Before a call center contractor can begin providing service to a client program, they must take and successfully complete a client certification course. Certification is an investment opportunity. Like an aesthetician or general contractor, it prepares the learner to be a true professional. Learners will gain keen knowledge related to the client, call types, customers, and how to be successful. The charges for these courses range between $19.99 and $299. This is required by clients in order to be able to service their account. The course provides information on the client’s systems that will be used by agents during servicing, as well as the performance metrics laid out in the operative Statement of Work and other information about the client program. How much are the client certification courses?


Ranging from $19.99 to $199!




How long are the classes?


Classes vary in length for each client. Some are 8-10 days in length while others are 6-8 weeks in length including Live Calls. Remember LIVE CALLS mean while still in certification you are now earning service revenue for all live call time. The classes are either 2 hour or 4 hour instructor led with self-paced learning content done on your own time before the next class session. Everything is virtual. Do I get paid during certification?


Yes and No. Generally speaking, the cost of the course should be viewed as an investment in the required skills and knowledge needed to properly service the client's customers in a professional manner and with a high level of quality. All instructor led portions; practice; role-play (including Mock Calls); and self-paced learning is unpaid time. Once you enter the Live Call portion of certification you will be earning service revenue for any service time while completing Live Calls. APPLY NOW!




Will I need additional certification?


Some clients do require upskills sessions. These upskills provide you with additional knowledge needed to manage a uniqe interaction with their customer or manage a different type of call altogether. The upskill sessions are usually abbreviated and often offered as self-paced learning. The good news is these are offered at no additonal cost to you. APPLY NOW!




Who do I pay the certification fee to and when?


Our Partner Arise contracts with certified instructors for the various client certification courses. So you will be making payment to Arise for any certification course regarding a client. This is paid once you reach client qualified status meaning you have successfully completed all required assessments and a background check. To become enrolled and confirm your seat in a course payment is made once you reach this status of client qualified. No payment arrangements are offered for the cost of a course. A contractor should be prepared for this necessary investment to get the proper training before providing service to a chosen client program. APPLY NOW




How can I get a voucher to help pay for the certification course?

TAXES

Am I responsible for my own taxes?


Yes. As a independent contractor or self-employed (sole proprietorship) you will receive a 1099 M from us for each year you had earnings. We suggest you consult a tax expert if you are unsure how to properly file your taxes using a 1099 M. APPLY NOW!

WORKSTATION REQUIREMENTS

Do I need a dedicated office?


That is preferred but as long as you have a quiet distraction free space to call your office that will be perfect! ALL client calls are audited so if children, animals, other chatter, tv's, etc. can be heard an agent could loose their service contract immediately under the grounds of UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT! Being terminated from a service contract for this reason has NO RECOVERY meaning you will be inactivated and no longer able to contract with ANY of our clients. What kind of computer do I need?

TRANSFERRING AGENTS

I want to transfer from my current call center company to LATEAM LLC - How?


Okay GREAT - it depends on your status: CSP status is pending - just enter our IBO ID 54438 and follow the prompts CSP status is active - send a release request to your current call center company (IBO) and then once released enter our IBO ID 54438




What happens to my enrollment upon the transition from my current company to LATEAM LLC?


Good question! Upon transition to our company roster you will show as dropped. NO WORRIES THOUGH! We immediately chat with enrollment to get that corrected and your status as enrolled in restored.




What happens to an active SOW I have with my current company upon transition?


Another Good Question! Your SOW will be automatically voided since it was written between your current call center company and Arise. Once you are on our company roster we create a ticket with our Premier Support Team to have it reinstated between LATEAM LLC and Arise. This usually takes a day or two. (this does not include weekends or holidays) PLEASE NOTE: Any scheduled intervals will be removed with the transition and you will have to log into Starmatic once your SOW is reinstated and schedule NEW intervals as they are available.




How is revenue earned prior to the transition managed?


You're on a roll with good questions! Any revenue earned up to the date you transitioned will be paid to you by your former call center company per their policy. Any revenue earned from the reinstatement date of your SOW and moving forward will be paid by LATEAM LLC per our policy. PLEASE SEE REVENUE FAQ'S FOR DETAILS ON REVENUE PAYMENT POLICIES.
